When I was given the opportunity to review Soft Scrub Mold and Mildew Stain Remover Gel I jumped at it. My apartment was built in the early seventies. The bathroom has never been remodeled and there is no exhaust fan. Therefore, the mold and mildew gets pretty disgusting over the winter no matter how often it gets cleaned, and I DREAD cleaning it. I am very sensitive to smells. Bleach and similar smells make me very ill. So, I usually spray the ceiling before I leave to go somewhere and wipe it down when I return. I was prepared to do the same with this product.

I sprayed it and was amazed I only caught a very faint odor! It was not bothersome at all. I also absolutely love the fact that it sticks where you spray it so you don’t have to remove items from the bathroom before spraying if you aren’t spraying in that particular area. Usually I take out all the toothbrushes and hair brushes. The product is simple to use. Spray it 6-8 inches away from the surface. Rinse and/or wipe it down with a wet sponge.
