Test It Tuesday-Olay Regenerist Review and Giveaway

I was given the opportunity to review Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Eye Cream & Lash Serum Duo and Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream. As I hit my mid-forties I realize it is more important than ever to take care of my skin. I am the furthest from vain as one could imagine, but that doesn’t mean I want wrinkles! I have been using the products for a couple of weeks and I am pleased. My skin isn’t nearly as dry and I do see a difference in the lines around my eyes. They seem to have faded. I haven’t ever used much in the way of beauty products on my face because my skin is so sensitive. However, I have not had any adverse reactions using the Olay Regenerist products. My face feels fresh and healthy. It also looks and feels very smooth. I am impressed with how well both creams have improved my appearance. For the best results Olay recommends the following products for your skincare routine:

Olay Regenerist offers products that incorporate other anti-aging ingredients such as vitamin E, pro-vitamin B5, green tea extract, allantoin, and glycerin.
These advanced appearance correcting and anti aging skin care products will help strengthen your skin’s moisture barrier and regenerate skin surface:

Olay Regenerist Regenerating Cream Cleanser – Speeds natural surface regeneration with oxygenated derma-beads that gently remove dead cells and a creamy formula that regenerates the skin’s surface to detoxify
NEW Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Eye Cream & Lash Serum Duo – The first eye cream and lash serum product from Olay, which instantly thickens the appearance of lashes, and helps achieve firmer, smoother-looking lids, helps soften the appearance of lines, and can help eyes appear brighter, firmer, and younger-looking in just one week

Test It Tuesday-TastyKake Smore’s Kandy Kake Bar

I originally reviewed this on Bubblews, but I wanted to share it here as well. I received a Smore’s TastyKake Kandy Kake Bar as part of the Influenster program. It is part of the Spring VoxBox.

The good news is this is a very tasty treat! The only downside is my diet. However, it was worth the “cheat”. As I stated on my other review, I truly enjoyed this because it wasn’t sickening sweet. It was exactly like s’more other than it wasn’t warm. I can count on one hand how often I have had a s’more, so I am not likely to eat this again for that simple reason. However, I gave my 13 year old a bite and he sure wants me to buy more!

If you like s’mores, I would definitely recommend giving the TastyKake S’mores Kandy Kake Bar a try. Learn more by following TastyKake on Facebook and Twitter.

Stay tuned on learning what else is in the Spring VoxBox!

*I received this product from Influenster for free in exchange for my honest review. No monetary compensation was received and all opinions are 100% my own.

Danielle is bowled over by Tony’s seemingly selfless acts of kindness towards her and her son and becomes romantically involved with him against her better judgement. Bookworm Wednesday-Double Click

I was thrilled to have the opportunity to review Double Click by Lisa Becker after reading the first book Click: An Online Love Story. Double Click is written as a series of emails between several friends. This book picks up six months after the original story. It’s funny, witty, and has some good puns as well. I didn’t care for the new character Cassidy, but otherwise enjoyed it as much as the first story. [Read more...]

Test It Tuesday-Soft Scrub Mold and Mildew Stain Remover Gel

When I was given the opportunity to review Soft Scrub Mold and Mildew Stain Remover Gel I jumped at it. My apartment was built in the early seventies. The bathroom has never been remodeled and there is no exhaust fan. Therefore, the mold and mildew gets pretty disgusting over the winter no matter how often it gets cleaned, and I DREAD cleaning it. I am very sensitive to smells. Bleach and similar smells make me very ill. So, I usually spray the ceiling before I leave to go somewhere and wipe it down when I return. I was prepared to do the same with this product.

I sprayed it and was amazed I only caught a very faint odor! It was not bothersome at all. I also absolutely love the fact that it sticks where you spray it so you don’t have to remove items from the bathroom before spraying if you aren’t spraying in that particular area. Usually I take out all the toothbrushes and hair brushes. The product is simple to use. Spray it 6-8 inches away from the surface. Rinse and/or wipe it down with a wet sponge. If you have a tougher stain, let it sit a minute or two.  [Read more...]
