I opened my mailbox the other day and there was a copy of Puzzle Baron’s Acrostics. I thought to myself “uhoh!” because I love puzzles. When I was teaching, I would go in early and grab a copy of the newspaper and do the puzzles. It was my way of unwinding for the day. Now that I work from home in the mornings, I haven’t done puzzles in a long time. I can see myself getting totally engrossed in the acrostic puzzles. To me, it is even more fun than reading a “real” book.
I’ve only tried one page so far and it is giving me a “run for the money” as the saying goes. They are definitely challenging (and fun). I will have to discipline myself to only 10 or 15 minutes a day of working on them, but I am looking forward to doing more of the puzzles.
Puzzles make a great gift for anyone who loves a brain challenge. I look forward to making different acrostic and other puzzle books stocking stuffers for friends and family!
