There is no better way to be thrifty than to get out for the day for free! It is free museum day across the country at many museums courtesy of Smithsonian magazine. Museum Day Live! offers free admission for one person and a guest on Saturday, September 29, 2012. Sign up, choose your museum, and you will receive an email.
You can see the list and sign up at smithsonianmag.com. Limit one ticket per household for two people. We will be heading to the Salem Witch Museum in Massachusetts and I will be sure to get some great pictures and do a post about it!
If you can’t make it this year, don’t forget, free museum day is an annual event. Add it to your calendar for next year well in advance!
