I was recently sent a great kit from Pillsbury to make homemade pizza! I received a baking sheet, pizza cutter, oven mitt, $10 Visa gift card for supplies, and a coupon for free Pillsbury Artisan Pizza Crust (Whole Grain). My husband (who is the cook) was especially ecstatic about the pan and pizza cutter! He has been asking me for awhile to pick up a pizza cutter (which I never happen to think of at the store) and our baking sheets were ready for replacement. This new baking sheet is awesome and nothing sticks to it!
On a fortunate note, the pizza turned out great! My husband expected the dough to messy, but was pleasantly surprised it was easy to work with. He added some pizza sauce, mozzarella cheese, and pepperoni on top and it tasty. Unfortunately, our picture didn’t turn out very well of the finished product, but the pizza was good. My 13 year old liked it even though he didn’t expect to after seeing “whole grain”.
As a family, our honest take is we would purchase this pizza crust again as an occasional treat. It was quick and easy to make. As for homemade pizzas, this is one of the better ones I have tried. Right now, Pillsbury (through My Blog Spark) is offering a $1.25 off coupon for Pillsbury Artisan Pizza Crust with Whole Grain. Go ahead and print it and give it a try!
Update: We made this again and here is a picture!
