It was rainy here in New Hampshire today and personally I had no money to go spend. This inspired me for this week’s Staycation Sunday and I decided to do some window shopping. I went to browse a couple of stores I have heard about, but have never visited. There was a store with comics in the name and therefore I assumed they sold comic books. They did, but it was a small part of their business. I spent a half hour browsing their cds, shirts, dvd’s, books, and novelties. I came out with a small gift, but for the most part I had fun just browsing. In the same shopping center, I went to three other stores I had never been to in the past. I didn’t buy anything but just looking around, finding new places in my area was fun in itself.
I had a pretty rough morning and the rain didn’t help my mood. Getting out and doing some window shopping did me good and only cost me gas (with the exception of the small gift). It was a great way to spend a Sunday close to home. Next time you find yourself with a quiet Sunday, head out and see if you can find a new shop or two to browse.
