Shaving always brings about annoying issues such as razor burn, ingrown hairs, and cuts. I hate spending money for over the counter medicines or the like when I can use something I have in my house already. For scrapes and burns, I use over the counter remedies such as black tea or aloe. Aloe, as most know will relieve burns. Black tea also works well (especially on razor burns) because it can directly be poured on cotton (or something similar) and applied to the face. The tannins in the tea are anti-inflammatory and will help reduce any inflammation.
The remedy I use for ingrown hairs is less well-known. A friend of mine introduced me to black salve (also known as drawing salve) a few years ago. It will draw out infections and as I found out, ingrown hairs. I recently applied it to an ingrown hair on my leg. I covered it with a bandage and after two applications (one in the morning and one at night), I was all set. You only need to use enough salve to cover the affected area. It is dark salve so I recommend using a bandage each time it is applied. It is also an inexpensive solution because it lasts forever and is only about three dollars. It can be found at most pharmacies and big box stores in the first aid section.
I hope the information is helpful to you. I know it has worked well for my family.

Hi laura I am a USMC wife, and believe me when I say the minute a military member goes missing they do everything in their power to find that missing person they DO NOT wait until they are UA. I have been spreading the info of your son posted by another blogger so the word will spread within all the branches of the military and a majority of the states. You should talk to his Commanding Officer not a SSgt.They may feel they don't want to deal with you but, It's their job to.. And make sure you have and they have contacted NCIS and stay in contact with them they are the ones that will most likely be working the case. Hoping that he is well. And is found safely.
YUCK!
