I am far from an expert but I have done some research lately on SEO and Alexa. Here are a few tips that may help you with your blog. They take (especially if you need to fix your titles) a little time, but they are free.
Install the Alexa toolbar. Alexa measures web traffic. It is a well known resource for sponsors, advertisers, and readers. Every time someone with the Alexa toolbar visits your site, it helps lower your Alexa score (a good thing). Be sure and add the Alexa widget as well. This also helps measure your website traffic (you can get the toolbar on their site). Visit Alexa.
SEO (search engine optimization) tips:
Titles should be less than 65 characters, should not include stop words such as a, an, of, the, me, mine, i, at, in, for, this, to (the list is pretty long but those are many of them).
They also should not contain non-alpha characters with the exception of the comma and hyphen (I am still fixing many of my older titles).
There are many SEO tips but these are the ones I am working on right now (and understand the most).
I hope there was something here to help you:)
